Billing and Cancellation Policy

This page describes the general billing logic for Lightingdesigner.io packages, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and one-time access passes.

These pages describe the general legal and operational policies for the Lightingdesigner.io SaaS service.

1. Package types

The service may offer a free package, a one-time Project Pass, and monthly or yearly subscriptions. Features, project limits, and export rights depend on the active package.

2. Automatic renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing period starts. The precise renewal timing depends on the payment provider and the selected package.

3. Trials

A free trial may limit some features, such as PDF exports. A trial becomes paid only after the user explicitly completes a paid checkout or agrees to subscription activation.

4. Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled from the account view. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal, but access may continue until the end of the already paid billing period.

5. Project Pass

Project Pass is a one-time access right for a single project during a limited validity period. It is not a recurring subscription unless a separate renewal product is offered.

6. Refunds

Unless required by law, charges for an already started billing period or an activated one-time pass are generally non-refundable. Exception requests may be reviewed case by case through support.

7. Price changes

We may update prices or package contents for future billing periods. Where practical, material changes are communicated in advance before they take effect.
